In today's service economy, knowledge workers produce tremendous amounts of information. Almost any software in use today allows for the ability to capture this information, and many systems are designed for that sole purpose. The problem doesn't seem to be about storing the information, it seems to be about finding it once someone else has created it. The value of a true knowledge management system is to create the ability for knowledge to be shared across groups and organizations. To be useful, each individual or group needs to be able to access the right information in a manner which is logical to them as they perform their specific jobs, which might be radically different than the manner in which was originally stored.
EnableKnowledgeManagement© was designed with this exact problem in mind. If other people can easily find and use the information, then we are basically storing data as opposed to managing knowledge. EnableKnowledgeManagement© allows each group to create and store valuable information in the context of their specific process. However, it goes beyond traditional storage applications by allowing for other groups to access the information within the context of entirely different process flows. This transforms all of the hard to find data into knowledge for the entire organization
